Testimonials

A church that allows Muslims to offer their Prayers on Friday. I’m not sure what kind of noble people run this church but my opinion of them and their church is very high.

Recently renovated, this place of worship offers flexible seating and clear sight lines. As a cathedral, it is host to various worship communities, but is not a parish church. The church is typically open 7 days a week.

Thank you to the organizers. Peaceful and humble. Location is across green and Red line T. Entrance is on the right side of the church and play card is posted

About us

Our Cathedral is a house of a prayer for all. We are the Episcopal Cathedral in the Diocese of Massachusetts, located in the heart of Boston. We welcome everyone to join our vibrant community. We are home to a diverse array of parishioners and community members including our regular Sunday congregation; the Episcopal Chinese Congregation; our emerging church community, The Crossing; our community of those who are homeless and in transition; and a Muslim community who gathers for Jum’ah Friday Prayers. In 2013, the Nautilus was installed in the Pediment as a symbol of universal invitation and welcome. A piece of public art that sparked some controversy, the Nautilus stands as an inviting symbol of spiritual growth. View a short video about the installation and dedication of this unique work.In 2014, St. Paul’s merged with the historic Church of Saint John the Evangelist, Boston. In Fall 2015, we reopened our doors after months of extensive interior renovations; our new Cathedral is warm, inviting, and inclusive, a space that embodies our mission of being a house of prayer for all people. Contact our Marketing & Events Coordinator ybess@diomass.org for space use and to host an an event in our beautifully accessible Cathedral.
